Self-Perceived Digital Competencies in Educational Online Migration Due to COVID-19 Confinement

Objectives: The purpose of the study was to validate a measurement scale assess self-perceived digital competencies Mexican university students who have migrated from mixed school-digital system fully digitalized educational environment because COVID-19 confinement. instrument based on European Union Digital Competence Framework. Method: 1,118 participants aged between 18 and 47 years completed assessment. This included 677 females (60.6%) 429 males (38.4%). Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) used structure. Results: Results CFA showed an excellent fit data, C<sup>2</sup>/<em>df </em>= 3.27, <em>p</em> = .01, comparative index (CFI) 0.97, root-mean-square error approximation (RMSEA) 0.05. Cronbach’s values for subscales ranged .78 .83. Three four predicted number assignments submitted, measure predictive validity. Conclusions: Scale Online Migration is valid demonstrates Implication Theory and/or Practice: may be useful in planning activities reinforcement identify difficulties support specific pedagogy online teaching/learning processes.
